Something that I've been doing a lot more lately is cooking frozen vegetables when I want a snack. Mixed vegetables, corn, green beans, whatever have been quite filling for an evening snack instead of a chicken sandwich or piece of cake.

Also something unexpected has happened. My blood pressure has started to decrease! I am still a little above normal, but this change has made a huge benefit.

Just make sure that you do NOT eat the canned vegetables. They have 10 times as much sodium as frozen.

I got this idea because I saw a guy at my office cook frozen vegetables in the microwave as I was grabbing my daily Snickers bar.

I said, "Ok, that looks easy, and it's cheaper too!" Okay, it's better for me as well.

I've been starting to mix it up so that it doesn't get boring. Corn one day, mixed the next, green beans on Friday.

I hope it helps you. I'd love to hear your comments. I know that the garlic pills, low-dose aspirin, fish-flax-borage tablets, vitamin C, calcium haven't been helping me much.

When I first heard about this organization back in 1994, I became a lifetime member!

These guys work hard for Driver's Rights. They have helped to get speed limits raised worldwide where they are set unfairly low. The increases have not increased accidents, and in some cases accidents have been reduced!

Please post on this site pictures of roads where speed limits should be increased, or "no turn on red" signs should be removed.

To this day, I still don't understand why there are "Leading Left Turns". The danger is what happened to me in California where a guy almost clipped me. Light turned green, and he turned left. I waited since I was going straight...not the way it was supposed to be, but I didn't want to get hit either.

Speed Limit Increases

I don't know what's going on, but the speed limits around Cleveland, OH need to be increased.

There are dozens of streets that are marked 25mph that should be 30, and the highways are marked 60 need to be 65.

The turnpike is 65, and should be 75.

I am not sure why they are so low. All I can think of is revenue generation.

Where they talk about expecting more traffic tickets in a weak economy. I know I've been seeing more cops lately. Gotta make that money!
